HELP SUPPORT TURNIPSTYLE BY VISITING & SHOPPING AT...
As promised during Episode 012 Gear It Up of the Voice of turnipStyle I pulled on my Rockwood Underwear a few times over the past couple of weeks to give you guys an idea of what to expect.
Rockwood is making some good gear.
On hand right now they have Mini Brief, Brief, Trunk and Boxer Brief in various colours and patterns.
Each line and style and size is limited run so you’re not always going to be able to find the same style, colour or pattern or size when you check in on their site.
So if you are interested, hit the site and hit it often.
I managed to get in on a great promotion a few weeks ago where Rockwood was giving away the underwear “free” as long as you covered the shipping.
Was a pretty good deal given they are retailing their gear for between $17 and $22USD.
The Scratched Brief, Brick Boxer Brief and White Mini Brief I ordered-up have felt great on my ass.
This gear is well constructed with good stitching and attention to important details like good flat seams and seam-placement so the gear sits on the body really well without binding too much in the wrong places.
I have said it many times before, a pouch makes or breaks gear for me.
Any decent underwear designer these days knows guys look for comfortable support up front for their cock and balls.
None of us are going to settled for flat pouches or gear that binds or squishes our shaft or sack these days.
Rockwood does a decent job with a good pouch on the brief-style gear and bit less so on the boxer-style gear.
The pouch on the briefs stands up really well during the day offering the comfortable support guys need, but I found the boxer was cut a bit too short for me and the pouch not nearly big enough to provide the same level of support the brief was giving me.
Nevertheless, I liked the look and feel of the boxer over the brief. All the gear is cotton / spandex blend, so not sure why the feel of the boxer struck me as better.
A stellar feature on this gear is Rockwood‘s signature waistband. I found it be really comfortable, did not roll around or shift at all during the day.
I think if you are looking for some standard gear at a good price point you would be happy with getting yourself into some Rockwood underwear.
