I have been spending the last couple of days trying to relax and recuperate. However, today I feel even worse than I did before I had this time off. I have to say I am SO very glad that I am not flying tonight. I would be a mess.
Pretty much haven’t been up to anything than the odd load of laundry, playing with my PS2 and watching TV. I should probably go out and do something ((I found out I missed some fun stuff in Cabbagetown today)) but I really do not feel inspired.
Some highlights of the past 2 days – oh wait really there is only one. I ran into “Santa.”
If you don’t live in Toronto or you don’t spend much time in the Downtown area you won’t know who I am talking about – so will give you a quick 411 on “Santa.”
“Santa” is a dude that roams the streets. I am not sure if he is homeless or not, but I always see him out on Yonge street. He usually walks around in shorts or jeans, no shirt and a Santa hat on. And he LOVES to flex his muscles. The dude is ((was)) ripped. Not huge just really cut.
The bad thing was that he would occasionally “stalk” women down the street and harass them and flex his arms for them. Of course then sharing that musk growing in pits.
Well he has started to hang out a block from my house, next to the TTC Station. 2 days ago he was whacked out on something and picked a fight with a bus leaving the station. Was pretty whack!
Then I saw him again yesterday and he was sober, friendly, polite and very articulate. Was kind of odd. This was the first time I had seen him straight.
Funny enough, in passing I have mentioned to a few friends that I ran into “Santa” and the response has been, “What his he doing over there and damn he has a wicked bod!”
