REVIEW: BOODY BAMBOO BRIEFS

HOPE YOU LIKE BLACK & GREY

I hope you like black and grey underwear, because those are your two choices. But what they lack in variety, they make up for in comfort. I was recently lucky enough to take a trip to St. Maarten, and I wore the grey pair on the travel day down.

So, after 9 hours of planes, trains and automobiles (no trains actually, a bus instead) this underwear had been through quite a bit.

I was worried when I first got them because there was no pouch or contour of any kind in the “all important” area that needs room. Instead, there are two rows of vertical ribs on both sides of that area that expand to make room for your stick and balls.

I was skeptical to be sure…I like my underwear roomy in the front.

These did a beautiful job of expanding to accommodate the family jewels. Not once during the travel day did I experience any sort of uncomfortable feeling, the need to adjust, riding, crushing or any of the other un-pleasantries that can befall a world traveller.

GREY BAMBOO BREIFS
YOU CAN HAVE ANY COLOUR AS LONG AS IT IS GREY OR BLACK

The waistband on these is the same material as the rest of the brief, just doubled over and sewn. It’s composed of 80% organic bamboo, 13% nylon and 7% spandex. The material is strong yet soft and very stretchy.

The cut on them is perfect with a low rise and leg openings a little higher than most briefs. For those of us with muscular thighs and glutes, that is a real blessing.

They’re almost a brief/bikini hybrid…if there is such a thing. There’s more to them than the typical bikini, but no heavy elastic waistband or smaller leg openings that many briefs have.

Oh – and they are tagless, so you don’t even have that to bug you.

Needless to say, I’m absolutely in love with these Aussie gems. At $14.95 USD a pair, they’re pretty low on the pricing scale and if you sign up for their newsletter you get 15% off your first purchase.

Trust me when I tell you to get as many pair as you may want or need in that first purchase. You won’t be sorry.

FYI – I am only giving them 4 stars on design because of the lack of choices. Otherwise, their design is outstanding!
They also make a boxer, which is not a regular boxer at all. It appears to be more of a boxer brief/trunk hybrid for $16.95 USD.

I guess they don’t like to follow convention, which is fine with me. I loved these so much that I wore the black pair as soon as I got back from my trip.
