Once upon a time, I bought 3 pair of FIT-IN1 underwear from an outside retailer.

Based on the size chart, I bought them in a Large because that covers waist size 35 to 37. That should be plenty for my 34/36 waist, depending on the designer.

So, then one day the nice Mail Lady, Pearl, brought them to my house for me. I tried them on and was so disappointed.

They weren’t tight…they were strangling my crotch to death.

So, I quickly took them off and thought “I know, I will find the manufacturer’s web site and I’m sure they will have a better selection and I can get them in a larger size.” With that thought and a quick Google search, *poof* I was at

I was very excited as they had SO much to choose from. Plus, if you sign up for their newsletter, you get 15% off your first order.

So I did what any shopping addict would do – I bought 13 pair of underwear.

I ordered them all in an XL, based on my past experience and thought “this is gonna be great!”.

They had so many briefs to choose from, so I made sure I got one of every color, except white. I just don’t seem to wear white underwear…maybe the term tightie-whities kills it for me. Dunno?

Many manufacturers these days are only doing limited briefs and are more focused on boxer briefs and/or trunks.

So, my girl Pearl came back one day with my order (she loves delivering all my shopping packages…not so much) and I immediately opened the box and started trying my new stash on.

My happiness turned to sadness rather quickly.

Having trouble with colours

I purposely picked this pair because they are advertised as “enhancing” briefs.

First off, I ordered them in navy nlue. It took me a minute to realize they sent them in grey.

Funnier yet, the tag says they are black. I’m not color blind….these really are grey. See the image to the left.

Moving forward now, I had to take these off right after this pic was taken because the elastic around the legs was cutting off the blood supply to my legs.

The “enhancement” feature is giant hole you put your junk through, then there’s another layer over it. What you gain in enhancement by doing that is lost by the tightness of the outside fabric.

I thought by getting them in an XL, I would be guaranteed a great fit since the XL is designed for waist size 38 – 40. My waist is nowhere near that, so how could I go wrong?

Well, I don’t think I did anything wrong, but these and 9 other pair were so tight, they are now up for sale. Flat ass and skinny legs recommended.

The fabric itself is fine – it’s your typical “athletic mesh” or nylon and spandex with holes in it. It’s got a little stretch to it, and it’s nice and soft.

They appear to be well made, with flat seams and good stitching. The waist band is soft and fit fine…perhaps because it was made for someone with a much larger waist than me.

I know this review has been a little cheeky, but I am serious when I said I had to take them off because they were cutting off the blood flow to my legs. The elastic around the legs is SO, SO, SO VERY TIGHT.

That was the problem with every pair of the 13 I bought. Only 3 were more bearable than the other 10 and weren’t as tight all over.

Honestly, it begs the question;

  • Who has a 40 inch waist with a flat ass and skinny legs?
  • Who has a 40 inch waist, doesn’t mind things being really tight and has skinny legs?

I have 4 sets of stairs in my house. Even without going to the gym my legs stay in great shape. My trainer is jealous of my legs. I told him to buy a house with 3 floors and a basement…his legs will look like mine in no time.

So, I know it’s not me. I guess there are just certain brands that have trouble with proportionally scaling leg openings to the waist size. I’ve run into it before once or twice.

The problem is, these are not inexpensive toss away underwear. They’re pretty expensive, even with the 15% off.

So, I’m donating them to the turnipStyle store, keep your eyes peeled if you want to try them out for yourself. Just make sure your legs are thin around the top of your thighs and treat these as one size lower than what the tag says. There will be both L and XL, but in reality they will be more like M and L.

They’re great looking underwear, so snag them if you can!
