We are left a little bit confused over the recent tweets published on your timeline that surround a photo of a very handsome model in what appears to be your super sexy spandex tights and he is holding a handgun.
Here is our question. What does a gun, of any sort, have to do with looking good, gearing up, celebrating one’s sexuality, sexual energy and basically just looking good?
With the recent violence against gay men in Chechnya. Remembering the massacre at Pulse Nightclub, the persecution your fellow countrymen face and numerous others around the world that are subject to violence and even death, just because they love a person of the same sex, is a gun really part of the message you want to send?
You ask your followers if they are gearing up for Tel Aviv pride, so clearly you are wanting to appeal to gay men and entice them to buy your gear.
You also have a tweet that says, “Today is a National Day against Violence and Racism in Memoriam of the Victims of National Socialism in Austria. Let’s love each other!”
Do you understand why we are confused?
We at TURNIPSTYLE have been true supporters of Maskulo since your launch brought you to North America. This was a troubling time because the Russian government had just enacted anti LGBTQ laws that shocked and appalled the world and everyone was screaming for “boycotts”.
Yet we encouraged our readers and listeners to consider your gear. The quality is outstanding. Your passion is very clear and your attention to detail, in your garment construction, is the best we have seen in a long time.
We wanted to support you in the hopes that you could stand up to the anti LGBTQ oppression in Russia and help make a difference and give members of the community some hope.
Now saying all that, we would like to request, respectfully, that you reconsider the use of guns, or weapons, in your photos and come up with other ways to ignite passion and intrigue in your customers.
