I took advantage of one of the sweetest deals that was offered by Mensuas a little while ago. I really did not have the money to be shopping but when I saw the deep discount, I could not resist grabbing up a piece of gear from the Ergowear Feel line. Both UrbanGuyTO and I have talked about the esthetic appeal of the Feel collection, with our eyes on the Swim Trunk. We had this discussion during Episode 71: Shaft Attack. Make sure you tune in. Before I get into the "meta" and logistics of the Ergowear Feel Suave Long Boxer, EW0222, I want to talk about how I felt wearing this gear. Firstly, when I took the gear out of the package, immediately noticed and couldn't believe how amazingly soft the fabric was. I do not know what I could compare it to to give you a point of reference because I do not think I have ever experienced fabric like this before. Secondly, the elastic is outstanding. Thin, minimalist and beyond comfortable. Up until trying this gear on, I had this romantic notion that briefs or boxer briefs always needed to have the traditional wide elastic band. The only other time I had been surprised was with the Intymen Sports Mesh line, I didn't think I was going to be amazed again. I was. The cut is amazing, the gear just sits on your body and your junk just like it was meant to be there. Just fit in like a puzzle piece. My junk and ass were right at home. This gear rides low and that only adds to the comfort of this garment. The elesatic, being thin, is not obtrusive or restrictive rather functional and maintained a high level of comfort. Now to some of the logistics of the Feel Collection that are the foundation of what makes this Top Gear that you have to have in your collection. Each garment from the collection has a roomy 3 dimensional pouch which is designed to keep your shaft and balls well away from your thighs and allowing you to dress the way you prefer; down, up, left or right, without any compromise on comfort. The pouch completely adapts to your body and movements but maintains its integrity. The pouch has been developed by Ergowear using unique technology that makes the shape possible without the need of a vertical seam in the centre of the pouch. [This centre seam has been the cause of many pairs of undies not making the grade in my drawer.] So here is where you get to be shocked. The fabric construction fro this garment is 95% polyester and 5% spandex. This is why I was so amazed. Polyester never felt this good. Now when it comes to this mix of fabric and a high quality garment there are some special care instructions that must be followed to maintain the integrity of your garment and allow you to get the full life out of your gear. Wash in luke-warm or cold water, avoid chlorine, hang to dry, do not iron (please do not ever iron your underwear or anything with spandex in it) and lastly do not dry clean. (Does anyone dry clean their underwear?) The way that the polyester has been constructed has given it amazing moisture wicking properties, which I have noticed on the 2 nice days we have had this year. Convinced yet? You should be! Ready to take the plunge? Head over to Mensuas to get your Ergowear Feel gear. Once you try ergonomic undies you will be hooked for life. Just like I am. I did also grab a Feel Collection thong. So watch for a review on that gear coming up soon." }
