So as I posted just the other night I was heading back to the hospital today for a check up on my ICD.
I am happy to report that all systems are functioning within normal parameters. Well as far as my ICD is concerned.
It is most likely that the reason I am feeling crappy is because my meds need to be balanced again; we just have to take that really slow as it is not like adding a splash more vanilla to the batter. ((Do you like how I used “vanilla” there? Made ya laugh didn’t I?))
So one day at a time. Been doing that for a while now and am not going to give up any time soon.
So after all that at the hospital I came home and had a nap; I needed it after having to be there so fucking early. Plus I am drawn to napping when it is cold out.
Went out for dinner and a movie tonight. Gotta love old theatres that still offer you a ticket for $5 on Tuesdays.
Was good to get out and be social; I haven’t done that in a while. OK maybe that’s not 100% true I went out to dinner a week prior but before that it has been a while since it was a true night out.
Went to see Argo; have to say that I really enjoyed the movie, the way it was shot and it spooked the hell out of me how well the actors looked like the real people.
Anyway as you see in the photo there is this funny sign that cracks me up.
Who would have thunk that going to a movie was such a commitment?
I mean how long must I retain my stub; “all times” seems like an awfully long time to me.
Does this mean I was supposed to retain all my ticket stubs forever that I have ever gotten?
Maybe it will be just easier and less clutter if I wait for the DVD?
Thanks to all of you that sent me great messages and your support and a HUGE thank you to UrbanGuyTO for getting me out there tonight!
