So sure enough the fire alarm went off again this morning. Beginning to think that it has something to do with the jackhammers but not 100% sure on that.

We didn't have this problem when they were working on the other side of the building. Nonetheless I will have some other pics that I will be uploading later.

As it were, I was not woken up by the fire alarm or the jackhammers this morning. No, this morning I was woken up by my sister. She called me as she was sitting at her gate¹ waiting for her flight. She is on her way to visit me for the next 5 days.

I am quite excited and nervous about her visit. Really excited for her to see my new place and the surroundings that make me happy and where I truly feel at home.

I am nervous because I broke her heart when I moved her.

So I want everything to be perfect.

Heading out to Pearson here shortly. Taking the TTC out there and back. I have to say one thing I absolutely love is that I walk one block² to the subway station, hop on and in about 40 to 50 minutes I step off a bus at the terminal!

Now for those of you baby turnips that live in a REAL city know what this is like. However, we Canadians seem to be slow in catching on to the way public transportation is supposed to work. Um I think it has something to do with transporting the public but not sure I really truly understand the concept yet. Oh and we are to fucking gutless to stand up to the cab drivers³ that lobby against (rapid) public transportation to and from the airport terminals. But I guess that is a discussion for another time!?

So everything is pretty much tidied up, I just have to get myself presentable. Gonna have fun shaving this morning as I have not shaved since I last flew. YIKES! Grizzly Adams!⁴
