Paws For Effect: The Wisdom in Innocence of @BuddyRabbit

One of my Heros - Buddy RabbitI learned today that one of the cutest creatures I have had the pleasure of being acquainted with has moved on to greener meadows, and I can only see a bountiful supply of radish greens are there for him to munch and nibble on.

Yes I have had some sad moments today and I have had some really happy and even giddy moments.  My lil buddy, Buddy Rabbit passed away.

I just wanna take a moment here to explain why my Twitter’ship with Buddy was so important.

Buddy often offered me moments of happiness, escape, laughter, encouragement and support when life has been rough for me.

Both through one-on-one conversations, yet also just through his general interactions the personality of Buddy lifted my spirits and gave me strength when I was tackling huge obstacles.

No. I am not crazy, I know that the spirit of Buddy will live on within the genius of his Dads and that is what makes me super happy.  The simplicity of Buddy’s advice, comments, humour and support was a product of his Dads.

Yet with his departure I feel for his Dads and the absence of Buddy’s presence that was the inspiration and vessel for this wisdom, kindness and selflessness.

It takes me back to pause » 01 for a moment and realise that sometimes the answer to our happiness lies in simplicity.

So I have to say Buddy thank you for being so damn cute and adorable, for being where you were when you were and for being the inspiration for a meaningful relationship with many people.

You have touched many lives; and I know you will continue to touch many lives.

Your spirit lives on.

Animals don’t behave like men,’ he said. ‘If they have to fight, they fight; and if they have to kill they kill. But they don’t sit down and set their wits to work to devise ways of spoiling other creatures’ lives and hurting them. They have dignity and animality.”
