OK so since I am running 2.2.2 this is NOT what I wanted to hear and my first search for a plug-in that would do what I wanted that is compatible with my version of WordPress.1

So guess I have to either stop posting private posts, live with this hiccup or keep searching. Not gonna do anything about it now though. Too tired!
