So Pride is over, or rather the official «Pride Week» is over. I took yesterday off from everything and just laid on the couch and watched DVDs all day while drinking buckets of Club Soda to rehydrate and get my electrolytes back up to where they should be.

It was really a great weekend even though I did not do any of the parades that were scheduled. Instead we found ourselves at the beer gardens drinking super cold and refreshing beer and enjoy the super hot sunshine! It was great to just hang out with friends and enjoy each other's company as well as the company of so many strangers that were all celebrating along with us.

One friend that I was really excited to see was my former partner. Not my «ex», I hate that term, especially since he and I still get along. It had been over 6 months since we last saw each other and it was a rather rushed lunch date during his lunch break.

We got to hang out, enjoy beer and wine on the balcony, go for dinner (there is story about that coming up) and just catch up and of course have a gay old time.

Oh and BTW who is «We», well WE included, my partner; his friend from upstairs, friend from work, then my former partner and myself. I guess you could say we were the «core» group that met up, throughout the day, with other core groups. All a «six degrees of seperation» kind of thing.

So other than drinking beer, dancing, drinking more beer, eating some pub-grub, drinking more beer and doing some more dancing it was all about the company.

I guess my mind is still in «idle» mode cause I am not finding much else to write about under this heading; hope all of you that celebrated Pride this weekend had a great, safe and fun time.
