OK so last night was fucking amazing on so many levels. I was so happy that Jer decided to call me to use the extra ticket he had and plus I was actually getting to see a band that I have been listening to for XX number of years.

I had the pleasure of sitting next to your traditional jock boy redneck that really wasn't into the show unless it was one of the most popular songs and what really cracked me up was when he realised that Paul was wearing red sequin platform shoes, to compliment his leather pants and see through nylon shirt - well let's put it this way, I think dude's balls fell off and I heard them hit the floor.

Anyway, back to me, without a doubt I enjoyed the show inside and out, and at times I was a little overwhelmed.  I didn't really think with all those people around me and with the volume I would start to feel things again but such was not the case.

There had been some very important parts and special moments in my life and it seems that The Cure was playing in the background.

And just like smell, sound is very important to me, so I was taken back to those moments to remember those good times. 

Sadly the person that was with me at that time is no longer with us so I got a bit misty.

So to break that I had a little bit of a distraction.

Now I am not one to judge¹ but there was this girl a few rows in front of me that was up and dancing the entire show.

So firstly - kudos for getting up and getting your jiggy on. What helped me stay «unemotional» as it were, is that she looked like she was having a seizure.

After the show we took off from the venue and poured outside with everyone else and hit up the vendor across the street for some «street meat» and then headed to the village for a few pints.

The group of us have all hung out before and we had a great time.  Sitting there shooting the shit was fun - good laughs too.

Only problem was that I was falling asleep.

So I had to excuse myself and grab the subway home. 

Literally walked in, got undressed on the way to the bed, crawled in and passed out!
