Going Through Something Tough
Last night we went to have a few pints with one of my partner's close friends who is moving away. We did have a good time for the most part but it is so hard to watch my partner hurt because he is saying goodbye to a friend that he saw everyday whether at work or outside of work.
In fact, they are so close that most of their co-workers thought that they were a couple. Now, the joke is that they are work-husbands.
Anyway, my heart is heavy watching my partner go through this and then at the same time we are happy that his friend is taking the opportunity to spread his wings.

But isn't it cool to see how deep the freindship is? I just think that is awesome. So many people out there don't have deep friendships like that. And rally anything is possible nowadays. One plane flight and you can be anywhere.

You sure have a good point there. I just recently got to reconnect with someone and it really has me blown away how strong that bond is and how much we still do mean to each other never mind how much better our relationship is now.
Friendship is really life's best investment, firstly with yourself and then with others.
