fucking faggot

fight Something happened the other night that has not happened in a long time, some dude called me a "fucking faggot" and to top it all off the guy was about a head and a half shorter than me and I probably had about 40 pounds on the fucker...want the background?  Keep reading...

I was at my 'local'1 the other night and was enjoying some beer with a good friend of mine.

We first met over at my place so he could drop off his bike2 and we decided to hang out on my balcony, have a few cans and watch the lightening.

Mother Nature did put on a really good show, the lightening was amazing and it was really cool to see the CN Tower3 constantly get hit and the lights on the tower never even flickered.

Anyway, we wanted to check out the live entertainment at the pub so we braved the deluge and hoofed it over there.

All in all it was a good time, we had a lot of laughs, great conversation and the entertainment was pretty good.

Then close to last-call these 2 guys walked in and the "conflagration" started.

They were both pissed out of their brains4 and when the server said that he was unable to serve them any more alcohol because they were already too far gone5 this short dude when off the deep end.

He started to get irate6 and he started to insult the staff.

He went so far as to call the cook a "twat!"

I was dumbfounded.

This dude then went behind the bar to go after the cook and the server, well I had a problem with that so I got up and went back there to talk the dude down and out from behind the bar.

Unfortunately, the cook made a nasty slur against this dude, of which I will not repeat because not only was it not necessary but it was childish at the same time7; granted the cook had put up with an onslaught of other negative comments and insults so I can understand why he let himself react that way. 8

We eventually got this dude outside the pub, it was the owner, myself and an off duty police officer9

We were talking back and forth, I tried to explain to the dude that the root issue was that he had already had too much to drink and that it was not possible nor was it responsible of the pub to serve him any more alcohol. 10

Of course that was met with the "but he said..." and "he called me..." to which I gave him the opportunity to rise above it and be the bigger man, even though he had already insulted the cook and the pub owner.

Then all of a sudden he called me a "fucking faggot!"

Needle scratches across the record, traffic comes to a screeching halt...

It was almost like time stood still...

The pub owner and I looked at each other, and now as I think about it the look on our faces must have been priceless.

We looked at each other as if to say, "Did we just hear what we think we heard?"

Of course at that point dude had lost all integrity and just became a completely annoying drunk of a fuck.11

Took some more discussion12 and then finally his boss dragged him away.

It was obvious that he was not going to get anywhere, plus with the fact that the pub owner and at the time most of the patrons were homosexual, he would have had a bit of a mob on his hands to deal with if he tried anything physical. 13

We went out for a smoke a while later, probably about 20 minutes or so, to kind of chat about it and have a laugh14 and noticed he was at the corner brooding.  Too funny!

I ran into the pub owner last night, she told me she had a run-in with these 2 characters the next day and the dude was blatant in his refusal to apologise. This of course earned him an invitation to never show his face again in the pub.

In the back of my head, at the moment he called me a "fucking faggot", I said to myself, "this dumb fuck is so lucky he did not do this to me at work" - insulting, verbally abusing flight crew is a felony and it has happened before and I have not tolerated it nor has my crew or the other passengers on the plane.

The last guy that called me a "fucking faggot" did so on the plane when he refused to follow my safety and security instructions.

Well that earned him to following amenities; strapped down to his seat and baby-sat by an off duty RCMP officer, a visit by law-enforcement when we landed15 and a trip to jail and court charged with failing to follow the instructions of flight crew and a hate crime.  I wonder if his new boyfriend's name is 'Bubba'?

Yup this dude at the pub got off lucky - he just has to deal with the fact that he lost his battle and that his balls aren't as big as mine and a lesbian's!

turnipHed Foot Notes...
  1. a term often used to refer to the pub you hang out at
  2. which he had to ride through a sudden down pour of a thunderstorm
  3. you might recognize the structure from some of my photos
  4. I found out later it was a "boss" and one of his employees
  5. and he did it in a very polite and respectable manner
  6. and if I may say when someone is cut off and then they get irate; well that is just another sign and confirmation that they have had too much to drink
  7. and I have some good friends that i love and care about that are of that 'persuasion' and I would never want to hurt them
  8. after it was all done I did have a chat with him about integrity and keeping one's self above the bar
  9. I did not find that out until later but fuck that boy was hot!!!!
  10. With my job I have learned the power of words and how to talk people around and make them see the facts as they are - often I am blunt about it but hey the facts are black and white so grow the fuck up and put your big boy underwear on and deal with it
  11. I think fucktard would be a good word here
  12. he kept trying to argue but we never let our tempers flare like he did
  13. I of course would have not responded with physical violence but I sure would have restrained him until the cops showed up - I am not so tolerant of hate crimes
  14. at his expense of course
  15. who were in full swat gear and had automatic weapons dangling

I work for the state of Connecticut and one of my very difficult co-workers called me a faggot to another person, which of course got right back to me. It was the first time that someone called me that. I didn't really care what they thought of me, but I use it to get rid of them.

Not just a faggot...but a fucking faggot? Oh my. I'd have kicked the shit outta him. (I talk pretty big for alittle scrawny dude.) Sorry about that. It seems just when we think we've come a long way in this world, then something like that takes us back a number of years. So, you have big balls, eh? Who would have known.

@ Lewis next time we are in the same city I will show ya my low hangers....

It is surprising and what really surprised me is this dude was not on European but from a nation that has been oppressed for a long long time....however, at the same time I find it really ironic that women and black people don't stand up and fight for equal rights for homosexuals - it seems oh since our oppression is over with we don't give a fuck about others!
