Elevator Etiquette

Elevator ButtonsThis is something that has been bugging me for a long time and I have finally hit my limit on keeping my mouth shut.

So, I am going to share some common sense and etiquette lessons for those fucktards out there that are seriously lacking some common sense; and as such they are pissing the rest of us off.

When you are waiting for an elevator, ONLY push the button that corresponds to the direction you are intending to travel.  IF there is only one button, okay just push that one button.

Otherwise, you will not make an elevator come any faster by pressing the down button when you wish to go up.

What in fact you are doing is making those people already on the elevator stop on your floor, when none of them requested it, when NO ONE intends to head in the direction that elevator was already going in.

You do not turn on your left turn signal when you are turning right; if you don’t expect to get honked at or crash into another vehicle.

So same logic applies here.

OH and one last thing, when you are trying to GET ON the elevator, move out of the way to let the people OFF the elevator.

If the elevator is full and you don’t let the people that are already on, get off.  Guess what fucktard?  You are not going any where.

Ok there I got it off my chest – feel much better now!

    Nothing short of perfection. I loved this post. Goodness, there are so many elevator fucktards out there, aren’t there? And sadly, yes, I have seen people turn right with a left signal on. Maybe that’s the root of the problem. Too many people challenged by “spatial ineptness”. It’s like the people who can’t drive in a straight line; I’m convinced they also never learned to “color inside the lines” as children. :)

      You make a very good point; I completely agree with your hypothesis, lots of colouring outside the lines. They probably mix mayo with ketchup as well! BARF!
