I have had the last couple of days off and I have to say I really took advantage of being «off» and pretty much have done nothing.¹

I have even taken time off from being online - I know it is a bit surprising for me but just was not feeling like it. Just wanted to lay really low and recharge.

Spent some time with a buddy of mine that was in town to do some apartment and job hunting, it was good to just kick back, watch movie after movie and do nothing. What is kind of cool is that I don't have to 'entertain' him when he is around, so its just like having company around without all the hassle of being a host.

I have to say I have really needed the time off and to myself. This past month of juggling the move across the country and working my full schedule, proved to be WAY too much for me. This last trip that I just got back from on Monday really was the «straw that broke the camel's back» for me. The last night I had a HORRIBLE sleep and it sucked everything right out of me.

This month is going to be much easier, I have holiday time plus a really wicked schedule. I was able to drop a pairing that really didn't work with my schedule and that now means I can either pick up stuff that works better for me or list as «available»² and pick up overtime! ³

If you read one of my previous posts about what I found at the Online Auction for the TTC - well the item that I was referring to has been removed. It was one of those mobility aid scooter do-dads that you see people running around on.

Struck me as the oddest thing to be in the «lost and found» category.
