Coffee Confusion
Last year my Christmas present to myself was an Espresso Machine. I usually just ask my family, other than my sister because she gets me, for money so I can go and get exactly what I want or what suits me.
Too many previous disasters with clothes as gifts prompted this resolution.
Nonetheless, for a year I have been making coffee with my machine and something dawned on me yesterday.
My double shot brew basket clogged up yesterday and I was not in the mood to take the time to wait to soak it and all that stuff - I NEEDED MY COFFEE.
So I opened the drawer and took out the single shot brew basket and decided to just brew 2 shots and get on with it.1
I noticed that it took ONE full scoop of coffee to fill the single shot basket but it does not take full 2 scoops to fill the double shot basket.
Now I may be missing the point here but I thought 1=1 and 2=2 not 1.75=2.
Or is my brain just not smart enough to grasp the concept?
turnipHed Foot Notes...
- I should mention this is the first time I have used the single shot↩

Too much time in the air with minimal oxygen, perhaps? I understand your pain. Math is not my thing.
