Birthday

sb10063335k-001 Had a really good lazy day today. Did not really do much at all and I am cool with that.

I got up, made some coffee, watched some TV, read some emails and then the phone started ringing.  It was pretty much non-stop! I was going a bit crazy but it was really nice to be remembered!  Between the Twits, messages, emails, phone calls and all I felt really appreciated.

I did find it ironic that I did not hear from my mom today, kind of thought she would have called since she was there 33 years ago and in a LOT of agony prior to my arrival.

Also found it ironic that I did not hear from T today since he tells me I am a really important friend and person in his life. Nor, did I hear from J who gave me shit for not calling him on his birthday, while I was waiting, and reminding him that I was waiting, to hear what the birthday plans were so I could show up.

What was nice is that I got to spend the night with a new friend that I really enjoy hanging around with.  Probably because he is just as sarcastic as me and we seem to get each other on that level....but that is all I am going to say about that.

Cocktail is done, so I am off to bed.  Have to get up early tomorrow, a friend of mine that works for another airline is arriving in YYZ tomorrow for a layover and we are going to do breakfast and a city tour, so I need to be bright eyed and bushy tailed!
